Jacqueline Donoghue

I am a molecular and cellular biologist who examines the transcriptional and biological characteristics of disease, to identify novel mechanisms of disease development, novel therapeutic opportunities and novel biomarkers. My current research relates to female reproductive health and benign uterine and ovarian disease. My focus is endometriosis, endometrioma, adenomyosis, fibroids, receptivity and infertility. I have a background in endometrial biology, angiogenesis, lymph-angiogenesis, endometrial cancer, brain cancer and oncogenic cell signalling. My research encompasses all my areas of expertise to ensure a broad view of disease aetiology. My research is driven by patient unmet needs developed from consumer consultation and clinical findings. My goal is to improve patient diagnosis, treatment and long term care through evidence based clinically translatable research.
