Dr Flavia Medeiros Savi is a tissue engineering research scientist specializing in the experimental design and evaluation of preclinical large-animal models, assessing bone and breast reconstructions using 3D-printed implants. She conducts pre-implantation studies to analyze implant architecture and degradation, and post-implantation preclinical studies to evaluate how cells behave around 3D-printed implants.
