Peng Ding
Dr. Peng Ding earned his doctorate in orthopaedics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His main focus is the regulation of skeletal system homeostasis, such as skeletal development and osteoporosis. During his postgraduate stage, he found that TLR9 as the important regulator of osteo-immuno surface whose deficiency led to the gut microbiota associated chronic inflammation, thus inducing the osteoclastic bone loss (Bone Res. 2022).
